History of the competition.

A group of lads from Ballygawley near Dungannon, County Tyrone were challanged by a team in the UK to assemble a Ferguson 20 Tractor against the clock. The challenge was accepted and completed in a little over an hour. They then travelled to shows around Ireland doing demonstrations.

During a show in Sligo in 2004 some members of the Mountbellew Vintage Club were so impressed by this display that they invited the “Ballygalley Boys” to do a similar display at there annual show in 2005. This was huge sucess at the show and a couple of members of M.V.C. decided to give it a go and the rest is history as they say……

In 2007 Irish Vintage Scene became the proud sponsor of this event.
